Building the blocks was a very easy process for me. To start, I measured out the block, making sure that my measurements were precise. Then I created the sketches that were required. Afterwards, I booted up my laptop and ran SketchUp. The program has a lot of functions to make sure that you don’t mess anything up. When I made the block, I drew a rectangle of arbitrary size, and then entered in my dimensions from the first step. After that, as long as you measured it original block correctly, you should have the same exact block. There are not many challenges associated with this task, as it is only a humble block, and not the more bravos arc shape. I would say that I did this project excellently, as my dimensions were accurate, and that is the only field in which there is opportunity to make errors. To the student setting out on this project I say, “Measure twice, cut once.”
