Hello! I’m Emma, an English major and Film minor here for my fourth year at the ever so lovely Baruch College. I’m beginning my first semester of senior year now as the Fall of 2016 I took time off of school to hike, camp, and volunteer at a refugee camp in Greece. My medium for storytelling has always been short stories and poetry as this is where I feel the most creative volition and freedom. Expressing myself through poems has always been a pivotal part of my life- it has been a lens through which I can understand a literally insane world. My other interests fall somewhere between photography, avoiding social interactions, running (both on the street and away from my problems), and traveling. I spent the better half of last year living in Amsterdam and studying film- It was an enlightening experience academically and personally. Living on the other side of the world certainly didn’t stop me from 3am existential crisis haircuts, but it was a grand time.
