For my project, I ultimately decided to go with a voice over of a powerpoint.  I wanted to try to get the idea of college being absolutely necessary to success out of the minds of individuals who were brought up on that very idea.  There is no doubt that college can lead to success, but that is not the only way to go about attaining it.  Working head in school should not be valued more than working hard on bettering yourself outside of school.  As long as you show a willingness to put in the work, you will eventually be rewarded.  I wanted show this by naming some of the “successful” individuals  who went down both the paths.  I also wanted to have quotes from some of these same individuals, but ended up having ones from Warren Buffett.  The idea of college being the “safe” road is something that might not be so safe.  While graduating with debt might seem safer than not graduating at all with no debt, both are risky in their own ways.  The idea of risk only being relevant if you don’t know what you’re doing was the idea I wanted to close out my argument on because there is no such thing as a safe road.

I had originally wanted to do an animation of some sorts, but that ended up taking way to much time.  I also couldn’t find a way to make me not sound like I was in a wind tunnel for some of the recordings since it just came and went as it pleased.  Even though my end product was less time consuming than what I had originally had in mind, the amount of time required to make everything presentable was still crazy.  I had never worked with a video making software in this way, so it was an eye-opening experience for me.  I felt like I could have said way more, but also felt as though saying any more would have made everything seem like a rant.

Did I do enough to get my point across?
