  1. Helen – Remember that this is an analytical research project, so your goal is to figure something out or understand it more deeply, rather than simply offering information. I’m not sure that your ideas #1 and #3 will offer much opportunity for analysis. Both seem more like they would lend themselves to “reporting.” You could think about how those two ideas could be modified to invite more analysis, or you could look at your second idea, and think about how you could narrow your focus – both by identifying a more narrow slice of “Asian Americans” and by focusing on a particular kind of movie or show.

  2. I am contemplating between these two questions:

    To what extent does the movie crazy rich asian show progression in asian representation?

    How does the movie crazy rich asian challenge stereotypes?
