Presentation Schedule

As you know, we will be sharing our research with one another through presentations on Wednesday, Dec. 8th and Monday, Dec. 13th.  Attendance at both sessions is mandatory.  In class yesterday, we picked numbers to determine the order of the presentations.  If you were absent yesterday, one of  your classmates picked for you, and you can find your presentation date and number below.  If you are unhappy with your spot, you are welcome to trade with one of your classmates.  If this happens, please let me know about the change as soon as possible.

Your presentations should be 6-8 minutes.  Feel free to include any audio-visual resources that make sense for you or to include class participation.  Keep in mind that the main goal of the presentations is to have an opportunity to share your research.  Focus on the content of your presentation, rather than worrying too much about getting the tech components just right.  Every presentation should include three elements:

–What were you asking? (your research question)

–What did you discover? (your research findings)

–What conclusions can you draw? (your “takeaway” – sometimes research leaves us asking new questions!)
