1 – Why do some see change as bad when in some cases, it is what has brought us closer?

3 – Why do those that complain about change find it hard to accept that they themselves have created change?

1) I believe people view change negatively due to people’s inability to adapt. If it is hard for someone to adapt, the will struggle accepting something new and may or may not properly adjust accordingly.
3) I think it has to do with the level of personal growth and self-awareness. There is no way we could go on staying the same person. When somebody does not recognize change, I think it means they don’t know themselves/their peers nor the way they affect others. When somebody doesn’t accept change, they like a frog living in a well, ie “in their small little world”.
Change can be difficult and complicated for people. It allows people to be uncomfortable to something new and it may be hard to accept that in the moment.
1. Some people find change as a challenge because it’s something they have never done. Humans are naturally attracted to patterns and we love it when our life is one. When all of a sudden life changes and disrupts our pattern, our brains go haywire and uncontrollable. This is why most people unconsciously avoid change when in reality they themselves want it.
1. Change is a very complex thing. In my opinion, change can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on who it benefits or hurts. We tend to classify it in 2 ways depending on how WE view the change. For example, if someone becomes distant towards you for attempting to focus on school, we see it as a bad change since it hurts us. On the other hand, the change is beneficial to the other party causing them to see it as a good change.
1. change is not always bad thing. nothing ever stays the same. in a society that is constantly developing and changing we must learn to adapt
