In this first video, Tom is seen relaxing at home while Jerry is carelessly wandering around despite the fact that his owner only keeps him around so he can kill mice. He is displaced and kicked out of his own home when the new “cat” arrives. It is no fuss, does not have to be fed, nor does it shed everywhere. He is no longer welcomed in a home where he does not help.

In this second video, we can see that the mechanic cat is doing it’s job; however, it is destroying the house and putting the owner in danger. Tom sees what is happening in the house and comes to the rescue. He is only welcomed back into the house because he acted as a hero and saved the owner.
