Women have always played an important role in our society starting from when God created Adam and Eve, to the Isaac and Rebecca era, until now. They have the power to manipulate and influence whether it is for a good or a bad cause.
As we look back to when God created Adam and Eve , God made them perfect with no sin but once the serpent put doubt on her head as to why she could not eat from the forbidden tree, she did and not only that but she gave to Adam as well. Based on that as soon as the serpent put doubt on her head she did and she got Adam to do it without telling him where it was from. Women also have the power to influence in a good way since they have been giving the power by God to bring someone to life and raise them. A mother will always try to do the best for her children. Another great example of how influential women are in our society when running for president, if its a men society expects him to be married and have someone to support him along the way of this presidential elections or when he wins to be there for him, instead of having a single president looking for women that might get distracted with work.
Another great example is when we look back to the story of Isaac son of Abraham and his wife Rebecca, and how she proffered her son Jacob over Esau since Jacob was always the one that stayed with her home cooking and doing chores meanwhile Esau was a hunter. Being the first born Esau was supposed to get blessed by Isaac and as soon as Rebecca heard that she helped Jacob get that blessing, as he did. We can see that she had the power to make Jacob get the blessing since she knew what was Isaac’s favorite food and made it so that Jacob would take it and get the blessing.
Women have a great power to influence a decision whether is it for good or bad.
I agree with you that women have played an important role in society,especially in the Bible.You reference the story of Adam and Eve where the woman commited the the first sin in the history of the world.This one sin caused alot of bad things to happen for the rest of humanity for all of time.You bring up the story of Rebecca where she informs Jacob that Esau is about to get the blessing which Esau sold to Jacob.By her telling Jacob of what was going to happen,she enabled Jacob to get the blessing that he deserved.Another example in the bible of the power of women was that Jacob worked for Lavan for over twenty years to get to marry his daughter Rachel.He kept on working even though Lavan kept on tricking him and gave him Leah to marry and ended up getting his wish.
