To Walk Invisible

To Walk Invisible is about two sisters who love to write but due to society’s norm, they are not given the same as man novelists. In the beginning of the movie, the two sisters are walking somewhere one of them talks about what the sisters will do after their father passes away. They have no identity or any rights to do anything except being governess or something that society seems right. She talks about her brother who is useless and does not care about anyone except himself. He loses his job after having an affair with his boss’s wife. Charlotte goes through Emily’s book of poetry which Emily keeps to herself instead the sister tells her that her poetry are incredible and needs to out there. Sisters knew if they published their novels under their real names it was either was not going to be seen or society would give them a bad name. Instead they use names of men to publish their books. Charlotte’s Jane Eyre becomes very popular in Europe. Eventually the sisters tell their father about their books. The father does not believe Charlotte when she tells him she is Currer Bell author of Jane Eyre but eventually she convinces him. The sisters go on with their work and in the end they receive the credit they deserve as authors. To tell the truth, I thought it was going to be a boring film which is based on the 17th century but I was completely wrong. I also thought many of Charlotte’s life experiences were relatable to Jane Eyre.
