Olga woke up at 7:30am on Monday morning. She always wake up at the same time every Monday so she can make it to her english class on time. She checked her phone to make sure she didn’t get any emails while she was sleeping. She then quickly got dressed and picked up the bag she packed the day before. Olga never ate breakfast at home so she just grabbed a water bottle and ran outside and hopped into her grandfathers car. He was driving her to the train station today so she wouldn’t have to take the bus. When Olga got into the car the radio was blasting pop music loudly and she lowered the volume. She wasn’t especially fond of pop music you see. The ride went smoothly and she got to the train station in fifteen minutes. Olga exited the vehicle and was greeted with a gust of cold air and immediately thought how she couldn’t wait for the weather to warm up. Olga swiped her metro card at the kings highway train station and walked up the stairs to the platform. It was a particularly busy morning and there was a lot of chatter coming from all directions. The B train arrived promptly and Olga got on it. It was especially packed this morning so she choose to stand by one of the doors so she had something to lean against. She took the train 5 stops before she managed to get a seat at Atlantic when two ladies got off the train vacating a window seat. much to Olga’s relief. She stayed on the train for 3 more stops: Dekalb Ave, Grand St., and finally Broadway Lafayette. Somewhere around Dekalb Ave two teenagers got on the train and started acting obnoxiously, angering a man who was standing near Olga. He repeatedly shot this lady dirty looks and thought “Why can’t I travel in silence for once?’ Olga got off the B train at Broadway Lafayette and walked down the platform and up the escalator to get to the uptown 6 train which she took for four stops to 23rd street. There she got off the train at Park Ave and 23rd, walked down 23rd past some loud construction noises until she reached 23rd and lexington where she crossed the street and entered Baruch. She got out her ID card and silently wished that the elevator arrived quickly so she wouldn’t have to wait for one. Sure enough one came in soon after and she got inside and pressed the button for the 13th floor,. There she got off the elevator and walked down the hallway into her english classroom, grabbed a seat and awaited for class to start. Her morning journey had come to a close.
