In this novel, Mrs. Dalloway, it was mentioned several times that Mrs. Dalloway suffered from an illness. But what can that illness be? Mrs. Dalloway shows no sign of being ill. Can the illness be related to her sexuality?

is this book a third person account of  Mrs. Dalloway’s thoughts? it is very fast and it completely changes themes in almost every paragraph.

With Mrs.Dalloway’s mind drifting between death and how she wishes she has lived her own life rather than for spectators, is it foreshadowing a drastic change in her life that she partakes?

Mrs. Dalloway recognizes and regrets her superficiality. She dreams of the ways she would act if she could do her life over again. If she is so unhappy with her current self, however, why doesn’t she just make changes in her behavior? Does she simply feel it is too late for her to reclaim her independence and make these changes?

Why does it feel like Mrs. Dalloway regrets the life she is living now, but is too afraid to admit it?

Unlike most novel, why didn’t Woolf divide her novel into chapters?

it seems to me the narrator is vary indecisive over actually commiting to his feelings often questioning whether he should or shouldn’t.

Is the love song being sang to himself from himself? and Why is it a “love song”?

Does love make one go insane easily? To think too much and to have one’s perfect parts to be shown to one’s lover, thus making one go “crazy”? That love is a drug and it makes one feel ashamed about one’s imperfect parts? …But should not love provides one courage? Why in this case is the opposite?

Does Prufrock suffer from some form of mental illness, or does he suffer from humanity?
