This site catalogs the Multimodal Remixes created in Spring Semester of 2023 at Baruch College, in Phoebe Glick’s English 2150 class.
These projects come after a 2-month Research Project during which students conceived of a topic to “develop their consciousness of the world,” researched that topic, and argued a stance in a 7-8 page documented Research Paper.
Students then “remixed” their Research Paper into a digital, multimodal text, for a different audience. The Remixes on this site successfully convey the arguments made in the Research Papers, just in a very different way.
