Angela Melamud is an independent book publicist. She began her career in publishing at Picador, an imprint of Macmillan, after graduating from Baruch College in 2009 with a major in English literature and a minor in art history. Before working at Picador, she interned at both The Paris Review and Farrar, Straus and Giroux. She also worked at Inkshares, a reader-driven/crowdfunded publisher. During her time at Baruch, Angela was a poetry editor at Encounters Magazine.
