Victoria is a writer and communications professional. She currently works at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, where she proudly serves her city as an assistant press secretary. Prior to her communications work, Victoria was a journalist, appearing in Gotham Gazette, Family Circle Magazine, the Queens Daily Eagle, and the Brooklyn Daily Eagle, among others. In April 2020, she was was featured in PEN America’s “Local Heroes: Journalists Covering COVID-19” series, which spotlighted her work covering the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in Queens. While at Baruch, she was the Managing Editor of The Ticker, a Peer for Career at the STARR Career Development Center, and a contributor to Encounters Magazine and Refract Magazine. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Journalism.
