Police misconduct in the media is nothing out of the ordinary nowadays. Such examples like police shooting unarmed blacks and brutality against minorities have been put on new outlets and popular video sharing website, Youtube.

One case of police brutality occurred recently this year. The video, from April of 2015, showed an officer shooting an unarmed black man 8 times in the back. Although not as well known as “The Ferguson Riots” of 2014 in Missouri, events such as the Walter Scott shooting are occurring much too often in such short periods of time.

In 2014, much like the Walter Scott shooting, an officer by the name of Darren Wilson shot unarmed black teen, Michael Brown, in Missouri. Even though there was video evidence, his fellow officers defended him and tried to justify his killing of Michael Brown.
