A matter of time

Reading the article “A matter of time” was very well detailed on the concept of time and perception.  The author describing the ability to play with time,postpone it,slow it down and speed it up was very  articulate. With video technology we now have the ability to do such a thing once we capture a certain moment. we could manipulate the time which could cause a different effect on the video. it was unclear what the message of the article was, some of the thoughts that occurred were did they look at photography as a preservation of life? a photo does capture a moment and it no longer changes. Maybe photoshop can be used as a manipulation of time since you can edit the images and make someone look older. very confusing article to understand.
