Freshman Seminar Fall 17' LC07

I visited Metropolitan Museum of Art. It is a famous, big, and old-line museum in New York. It has been close to a quarter mile and covers an area of two million square feet. The museum opened on February 20, 1872. It has 19 parts to show about wide range countries and their different cultures. Also the museum use real exhibitions and informations to let us realize detailedly.
Metropolitan Museum of Art has extensive and specific exhibitions. Take my example, I visit 3 parts about the museum. They impressed me a lot. First, I saw China traditional quadrangle dwellings. They are typical houses in ancient China and has at least 3000 years. Second, it is about Egypt pyramids. The tallest is Khufu, it is 146.5 meters high, 230 meters long, 2.3 million pieces of stones, and coves an area of 52000 square meters. Finally, I visited Europe furniture. It shows us an elegant and high-quality life’s habit.
I really like Metropolitan Museum of Art, because it helps me to learn ancient different countries cultures. All of these countries, my favorite country is Europe and I think that I will travel in the future. Because I like European architecture, sculptures and yearn for an elegant and romantic life.
