The MET

I visited The Metropolitan Museum with my friends. First, we went to the section of Indian American culture. We took some pictures of interesting crafts and learned more about the background information behind each craft. Then we went to the Asian culture section. All of us were impressed by the Chinese traditional courtyard. As people build more buildings now, it’s hard to see some courtyards like that. There are rockery and pond inside, and they make everything seems so peaceful.

Even I visited the museum before, I didn’t have the chance to check out the Chinese culture section. Most of the time, I felt bored in the museum because I didn’t understand the history and background behind each artwork. However, after staying in the museum for several hours and finding out the development of art and musical instruments, different cultures of each country, and people’s ideas from the past until now, etc.  I changed my impression this time. And I would like to visit more museums in the future.
