Morning Glory

Throughout the article McLuhan talks about the “medium” that changes society itself. Whether it be from fashion trends to art, to education, to public opinion, etc. I really like how McLuhan touches upon each and every subject that influences the culture around us. Although I felt that some parts were pretty eccentrically trippy; like page 10, 27, and 28, I still agree with what McLuhan says that these “mediums” symbolize the extension of man. I feel like its more of mans ideas rather than their works. With their ideas, their existence remains timeless while their work perishes. This picture is what I feel that represents one of the “mediums” of our current times, even though 5 points is not currently what looks like what is shown in the picture today.
