From the beginning of the semester, I was very interested in going to the Club Fair. When I discovered it was also part of the freshman seminar workshops, I thought it was a great opportunity to get started. When I arrived to the gymnasium it was so crowded you could hardly move. Since freshman convocation, I had an idea of which clubs I wanted to join. After listening to what they all had to offer and taking advantage of the snacks they were giving out, I signed up for three. The clubs included Asedom, Women in Business and Alfa, which was a business club mainly composed of latinos. I figured it would be helpful to join business related clubs because of my major in Marketing. Overall, the club fair was fun. The school’s radio station had a small “dance off” with the students, in where a few talented people performed different dance moves. It was nice to see everyone showing some school spirit and bonding in one way or another.
