I went to the career exploration workshop on writing a resume. I thought it was pretty boring, since I knew some of the information. Alot of people were there, and they didn’t let people who were late come in. I thought the presenter explained the information clearly, but I really wasn’t paying attention.
The workshop was boring but I have to say it did refresh my memory. Alot of the things that she said were something I heard alot in high school. Since I went to a business high school, a resume was no surprise. But after hearing that any experience before college does not count and I was sadden by it. I did do alot but I guess I’ll have to step it up and try to take all the chances in college. I hope the workshop did help you as much as it helped me.
