When I think back to this workshop, I think of the forced interaction that had us do, which is always awkward and even more so in a workshop dedicated to addressing college relationships. Although I haven’t checked it out yet, they stressed the value of LinkedIn. I did search it up after the workshop, but I came across a funny video addressing the fruitlessness of social networking (or business networking as the case may be) of sites like LinkedIn and Twitter–nobody can find a job if EVERYBODY is looking for one. Overall, the session felt awkward through and through; from the forced mingling to the tone of the speaker. The content was decent, if a bit typical and obvious. It wasn’t a waste of time, but it could have been executed better.
