Section BEG1B

Last week I went to the club fair. Took awhile to get inside and it was packed. It was hard to move around. I was thinking about joining the archery, bowling, and billiard club. I might want to join break dancing too, but not sure yet.

I went to the club fair last week.  It was really great!  I ended up joining the NY Music Industry Association, The Ticker, and I applied for WBMB.  I had to do an interview, which I thought went really well, so hopefully I get accepted! Wish me luck!

I went to the club fair thursday the 24th of september to start getting some enrichment activities done with. when i first walked into the door i was mostly suprised by the number of people in the gym. I was not expecting this many people and i guess i wasnt expecting that many clubs either. I walked around quick and saw a bunch of different things ranging from ethnic clubs to archery and bowling. I didnt sign up for any clubs but i was able to see all the oppurtunitys availble

I went to the Club Fair on September 24th. It was kind of chaotic there.. I saw something I was interested in (the photography club) but the table disappeared and I went around looking for it. -_- I also was interested in the Archery club although I’m busy on the weekends so I can’t join it right now. I liked the F.U.S.I.O.N club & the bowling&billiards club as well. I had an alright experience with the Club Fair. Hopefully there are more workshops that will interest me! (:

The art workshop was kind of boring. The weirdest picture was the ass for desert terrains, kind of disturbing with 3 men’s ass and 1 girl’s. The pictures were not as intriguing as I would have expected, but it was okay. My friends and I went there 20 minutes too early, so we were bored looking at pictures. It was better than the freshman workshop because it was more organized and there they actually told us something unlike the freshman workshop where most of us did not get the folder.

this past thursday i went to the club fair.  It was helpful although it became a bit crowded at times.  I did see visit many of the clubs i was interested in and met some cool people.  The club fair was informative and i guess it made life easier for all of us.

Today I went to the second workshop which was The Nature of Landscape/The Nature of Photography. The workshop was alright. It was just basically examining the pictures photographers have taken. It was nothing special or anything anyone would miss. The gallery was a bit small and congested since tons of people showed up. I went there half an hour early with three other people and thought we were going to be the only ones. Little did we know when it was time, I could say there were around 30 people if not more. The tour took about 20 minute. The lady knew what she was saying and went over each picture briefly. It was better than the freshmen reception workshop because it was much more organized and thought out. The first workshop was a disaster. I got no food nor the folder with the information we need to know as a freshmen.

For my first workshop, I went to the study abroad fair. I have always been interested in this, so I enjoyed it and found it to be very helpful. The next workshop I will be attending is the Club Fair. I have heard a lot of good things about the fair and I’m interested in joining a club so I’m excited for it. Hopefully it will be as fun as everyone says it is!
