Section BEG1B

Hello BEG1b,

Since a few of you expressed doing the library tour at another time, I sent out an email from blackboard reminding you that the tour would not be Monday Sept 21, but instead Monday October 5th so that everyone can come to the tour. IF you received this email please let me know, because if something is wrong with the email feature for our blackboard I need to know to get it fixed (It seems many of you did not get this, please remember as I said in class, to check your Baruch mail often!).

I am sorry for those of you who were inconvenienced by the confusion, but remember it was rescheduled for October 5th. Also, we will meet in the lower level of the library building. I will remind everyone in class next week.

There is also a library workshop: Thurs 15-Oct/ 20-Oct  Library 12:30-2:30 ( Academic Enrichment) so you will all have multiple opportunities to really learn about the library.

I went to the “get a fresh start” on thursday. I didn’t do much there besides getting a piece of paper signed since i forgot my planner and listen to some guy talk about business 1000. They ran out of folders to pass out by the time i got there.

So this is my first blog and its gunna be about the workshop i went to.  It was a global awareness one, which was about the abroad study program.  It was actaully kinda interesting, since i want to study abroad but i dont know if im gunna end up doing it..but it was good to know all the facts and stuff..im more interested than i was before so it did help and wasnt useless!

i went to the enrichment workshop thursday the 17th of september and we really didnt do much. Basically just waited on line for like twenty minutes then went inside their office and got our books signed off because they ran out of folders to hand out. So it was pretty easy

I was wondering when do we do not have class. Where can i find out which weeks we do not need to come in?

This is my first blog post since my middle school days. Well, anyways, schoolwork is increasing more and more these days.  I can’t wait for next semester so I can choose my own classes.

At the moment, I’m studying for tomorrow’s math quiz and I really do not know what to expect.  Hope all goes well *fingers crossed*

Well this is my first blog entry in my 18 years of breathing! I honestly couldnt remember the website but here I am today..

School is not so bad, the first week i thought it was hell but now its much better. I hope the history quiz isnt too hard the stuff I just finished reading seems easy enough…we shall see….

I havent been on here for awhile. Its really hard to remember the website lol. But anyway I am loving Baruch.. My classes are all pretty cool, especially my psychology class. Even though for some reason I always tend to get sleepy when I go..I think history might be a challenge but overall its not bad..

Enrichment workshops are going to be available on your blog.  It is also available on the Student Life website here http://www.baruch.cuny.edu/studentaffairs/StudentLife/fro/froworkshops.htm. It will be updated every Friday so be aware that changes will be happening every week.

Please visit the link and find the enrichment schedule. Remember that you must attend 6 workshops this semester since we will only have six in class sessions! You must get it stamped or if their is a sign-in sheet make sure that you have signed it.

The first day was kind of crazy! It’s going to be tough waiting for the elevator for BOTH buildings (the VC and the 23rd St). The classes weren’t that bad. History seems like a really interesting class as well as Psychology. I hope I’ll be able to understand Math and do well in the class. >< In the morning, everyone stampedes for the elevators and it scares me, haha. Yeah, pretty good first day.
