Film on Global-Community Awareness

I actually went to watch the film but it was cancelled. Since the movie was suppose to be about global awareness, I decided to at least google about the film.  The film is about a young man named Omar who is forced to work in his rich uncle’s garage. After awhile, his uncle lets him work in his laundrette (self-service laundromat). Omar runs the laundromat with his friends at first even if his father is displeased by it. As the movie progressed, Omar gets into a relationship with his old friend, Johnny. They sneaked around together and no one catches them together. In the end, Omar’s friends leaves him and he only has Johnny by his side.

About Wendy

Hello everyone out there! I am a short baruch freshmen! I prefer to finish all my homework and everything before I plan to hangout with my friends. I think that my freshmen year in Baruch would be exciting but I just hope that I could get less homework and more free time to explore Baruch.

Did you get credit for the workshop even though it was canceled? Luckly, i had something to do that day; if not, I would of stayed for nothing.
