Well, the transition from high school to college wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be and this has been the result of some good workshops we’re provided with at Baruch. The Baruch life as of now has been has been full of good experiences consisting of great volunteer events I have attended and the people that I’ve met at these as well as in the college; people are very amiable and enthusiastic that they easily transmit their feelings to me. Educational wise, however, college does in fact require a lot of studying and constant preparation as well as devotion, which clearly sets somewhat of a big difference from high school because although it did require all of these things it didn’t do so as to the same extent as college does. College also consists more of self initiative from us students and what we would like to achieve in life; professors aren’t really on top of their students work as to what they do or don’t because we should be mature enough as to be able to know wether our actions will be affecting us positively or negatively.
My Baruch Life So Far
About mvidals
Hi, my name is Michelle Vidals. This is my first semester at Baruch, and I'm currently a Freshman student. I reside at Morningside and have been living in Manhattan for 18 years already, becoming greatly adjusted to the city life and its diversity. In fact, this was one of the major reasons that I decided to attend Baruch since it is well known for its great diversity as well as many academical attributes that make it a great self-fulfilling college. I really look forward to becoming well acquainted with many of you and having a great year as many of us may share many common interest and hobbies. Among some of my interests are the following: I really enjoy engaging in all kinds of sports but particularly in volleyball, handball, and swimming, photography also captivates my interest, but long story short anything pertaining to art which may consist of paintings, nature, creating sculptures to many other things allure me. These however, do not include my academical interests which include psychology and international business. As you may already assume both of these are my intended minor and major but although I may be inclined to this I do not know what the future holds for me and what I may decide later on, only time will dispose. I really hope that we all get to know each other better and that we may all achieve our goals in life because I think we're all capable of doing so. Wish you all a great year and success from now on.
