Student Life – Club Fair

The Club Fair is a great place to start if a student wishes to get involved in Baruch.  There are many interesting clubs that I would have never thought to exist.  I attended a little to early and ended up waiting for about a half-hour for certain clubs to show up.  Some club members were very aggressive in attempting to recruit students while others offer material incentives to join their clubs.  I signed up for the Italian Society which I still attend and the Accounting Society wchich had a few demands that I was not ready to pursue as a freshman.

About Marino Sorbara

Hello. My name is Marino Sorbara. I am from Valley Stream, NY. I have lived in Valley Stream for my whole life. I have an older brother who attends St. John's University. Most of my ancestors were born in Italy in a town located in Calabria. My parents were wed in Italy and then moved to New York to start a family. I myself, have been to Italy four times. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and cousins, playing cards, and playing soccer. I hope everything works out here at Baruch.
