Giving blood on 10/07/09

When I first arrived I had to fill out an form which basically made sure that i was healthy and eliable for giving blood. After filling out the form i had to sit and wait in a long line. The first thing they did was examine me, they took a sample of my blood for hemoglobin, took my temperature and then took my blood pressure. After this was over I waited yet again but this time to actually give blood. Giving blood wasnt bad at all and there really wasnt no pain. We were reassured that our blood would be used if not in a person then for testing purpose so this is a good thing. The overall expirence was good and I would donate blood again. At the end they made sure you were alright and you were given juice, cookies and other snacks.
