On October 8th I went to the the workshop about Managing family and intimate relationships while in college. We spoke about the transition from high school to college, and how our relationships are affected by our changing lifestyles. It was fun introducing myself to new people, and getting to know how others deal with their family and friends now that they are in college. We were also told about the counceling center, which is located in the building next to the library building. It was relieving to know that over people my age are also working on their relationships and trying to make new friends in school.

I personally didn’t think this workshop was neither fun nor beneficial. We were talking about the transition from high school to college and problems that may arise with managing time and relationships with your parents, friends etc. I am happy that personally I am managing fine with school, my job and relationship wise. I feel this workshop could have been carried out better.
