Personal Enrichment Workshop – Building and Managing Relationships in College

Last Thursday,  I attended “Building and Managing Relationships in College” at Baruch with a few friends. This enrichment workshop, held in the same room where speeches were made at our firs college orientation (1-107), was designed to give students important advice about dealing with others as a college student. The four main types of relationships outlined were: family, friendships, romantic and business. What I liked about this workshop was that it was on of the more interactive ones that I went to so far; meaning, we walked around and communicated with other attendees. One activity required students to walk from their section to another, to introduce themselves to others. This allowed students to make some new acquaintances, which I thought was somewhat fulfilling. I would certainly recommend Baruch to have more workshops like this one.
