Progressive Muscle Relaxation Workshop

Today, I went the Progressive Muscle Relaxation Workshop. At first I thought it was going to beĀ  pointless because it seemed like one of those yoga type excercises. But as the instructor went through each excercise, I felt it was actually working. The excercises were not complex as yoga is but every simple and easy to do. For example, one of the excercises we did was scrunching your feet for about 20 seconds and then letting go. And after a few seconds, we actually felt lighter and more relaxed. Our muscles were less tense and more loose. Also the acronym, on the handout was helpful. It explained to us how to get what we want and not feel bad for it. I thought overall the workshop was very informative and will definitely be helpful in the future.
