Pursing your passion: Finding the right major and career

Last Tuesday I went to a Career Exploration enrichment workshop. This workshop helped me realize that a major don’t necessary need to relate to your career of choice. For example, I learned that majoring in English can help you become an accountant. The way you speak is very important in becoming an accountant. The workshop also taught me that I should choose a career that fits my personality. For example if I was a more conventional person, it would be best for me to major in Accounting or Management. If I was a more artistic, I should probably consider liberal arts major. Overall this workshop was very helpful and I am glad I decided to attend this workshop.
