On Tuesday October 20, I attended an academic enrichment workshop,held in the library, called “Bearcat: The Other Google.” I learned about Baruch’s Bearcat search engine, which is similar to Google. But, unlike Google, Bearcat gives reliable sources. This makes doing research easier as you can trust the information you are looking at. This workshop was very helpful as it taught me how to do more precise research and I would definitely use Bearcat in the future.
