Freshman Reception Workshop

Yesterday I attended the Freshmen Reception Workshop located in the Center for Academic Advisement.  I met with an advisor there and found the workshop to be very informative.  I especially learned from the advisor what courses I need to take to get into the Zicklin School of Business plus other other courses I need to take in order to graduate.  I was also told by the advisor that you need to have a minor as well, which you can even start next semester.  Without this workshop, I wouldn’t know what classes I need to take later on.

I agree going to that workshop really helped me with understanding what classes I need to fulfill in order to get into the Zicklin. I didn’t really know what this workshop was about at first but after settling into a conference room and the advisor explain things, I learn that I needed to choose a minor and take the appropriate tests or classes inorder to be able to take a class. I was surprised that this workshop was shorter than what i expected because it was suppose to end at 2:30 but it didn’t, so I was really happy about that.
