9/14/09 First Blog-Library Tour

Hi guys. Steven speaking here. Well it took me a while before i could sign up. Anyway, i have to say that it was a really nice library. Why? For one, there are plenty of comfy chairs to go around. Also, people actually keep quiet! Can you honestly tell me that you don’t appreciate the quietness in the room? Back in my H.S. my library was insanely loud. So i like it here. The private room caught my attention. It would be very handy for a project or group gathering. The only thing that i didn’t like was the computers. The sound didn’t work…. But besides that, it was pretty nice. On the side note. I am VERY ashamed that i totally forgot about 9/11 this year… Has it really been so long? Time sure passes by quickly. For those of you who know me well enough, The World Trade Center meant a lot to me. I had a lot of memories there. For those who don’t understand what i’m talking about. I took my first steps there! It was awesome and my parents even got in on Camera. If anyone lost a family, friend, or relative during 9/11, i hope i didn’t bring up any bad memories because i only have good memories of that place. That’s it for now. See you in my next post guys. I hope you enjoyed your week at Baruch.

2nd Part: Ok so what happened was there was a seperate library session. there was a group of around 10-15 kids. There were also a number of services and features available that i had no idea about. Etext collections. Also another cool feature is that books could be borrowed from ANY CUNY branch.

hiiiiiii! woohoo a nice lengthy post! yeaa the library sure has some comfy chairs! and it is a library after all so it’s supposed to be quiet! i was trying to do the tour as quiet as possible, since it wudnt be nice to disturb ppl who are trying to study… or sleep haha. well for the computers, you can always use your own headphones, otherwise if the speakers worked, no one would get any work done!
