This workshop was pretty helpful because I never knew about the Baruch Database up until now. It serves as a good replacement for google because it uses verified and acceptable sources for information. The guy who was explaining everything showed us how to search specific databases and how to conduct our searches to get the best results. I will probably be using this engine a lot for my papers since it’s not exactly easier to use than google, but it’s a better source and it’s more efficient in various ways.
You will be seeing this a lot in your classes too. Every semester so far, at least one of my classes has a librarian come and explain how to use this Baruch’s database.
