This workshop started off really badly. It was really crowded and I got cursed out by some punk during my five minutes in the room.
I remember the instructor talking about issues regarding personal relationship relating to school and how to juggle your responsibilities while being involved in certain relationships.
We were told in the middle of the workshop to move around and talk to other people in the room. This exercise forced many of us to move out of our comfort zone and try something different. We were suppose to learn and understand the importance of networking.
This workshop helped me see that college is not just about studying but about the different people that make the college successful. I definitely saw the importance of networking and to always keep in mind the benefits of knowing the right people. I recommend this workshop to others who are fresh out of high school and new to the college world.

A lot of people do feel a bit uncomfortable getting up and meeting new people, but I think it’s a good exercise to force people to get up and meet and talk to others!
