This fair was very helpful to me. I was able to speak with people from the SACC center about tutoring for math and they taught me how to sign up for a tutor. All of the staff at the fair was very friendly and made sure that I fully understood what their service would be able to provide to me. A few of the tables were giving out free stuff and that was cool also. Another service that I learned about was the health center, I think it is a really nice service to be provided to some students who may need it. I also talked to one of the athletic directors and he told me about the environment of the sporting events, how to check when there is an event coming up, and about all of the different sports that Baruch has to offer. Overall, I did enjoy this fair. It wasn’t too long but it still was very informative.
It was no out of comfort zone at all. All of the faculty at the fair were very friendly and did not make it uncomfortable to ask questions at all, so I would definitely recommend this workshop to people.
Was this out of your comfort zone and would you recommend this workshop to others?
