Student Services Fair 10/13/09

This workshop was created to inform students about all the services offered at Baruch. The goal was to inform students about all of the help we can receive from the school that we may not know about and may need in the future. I selected this workshop so I can learn more about the services available to me and other students. It took me out of my comfort zone because, once again, I am a very shy person and I do not really enjoy asking questions to people I do not know. My expectations were met because I learned about a lot of the services that are available to me at Baruch. I highly recommend it to other students because there are a handful of services that you will definitely need in your college career and they can help you. I learned a lot from this workshop, and the new thing I learned about was the Study Abroad Service. I plan to one day study in Europe and this helped to inform me exactly what I need to do in order to successfully study abroad. I was surprised that there are so many services available to us that I was not aware of.
