10/29/09 There was a workshop that covered what to do and what not to do when interviewing for a job. Most of the stuff they covered, I knew beforehand. Dressing formally. Posture, researching company background. What to say, what not to say. How to shake someone’s hand. Facebook/Myspace problems that might occur with your potential employer. These were all information i knew. What was helpful was planning answers to tricky questions before hand. it isn’t uncommon for them to ask “What do you think is your worse trait?” helps to be prepared, and it’s really hard to talk about yourself truthfully sometimes.
Could this workshop be improved and would you recommend it to someone?
