Yea, summer always causes a “writing block” when school starts. I am definitely going to use the writing center!
Yeah i agree, i think English class will prove to be the hardest. Although we only have a 500 word essay due today, it was just stressful getting my mind back in that “writing mode.”
Wow, from what I am hearing, for those of you enrolled in ENG 2100, your getting alot of written work already. Maybe you guys should schedule an appointment with the Writing Center on the 8th floor. Maybe it will help make the assignment(s) less intimidating. Think about it and let me know.
First week was cool. It felt like I was at school forever already. I see English is going to take the bulk of space on our assignment list but I guess we’ll just have to cope. All in all it was a breezy week. Time to do this English homework now…YAY! 😡
BEG3A**
My first week was good. My apologies for being late on blogging. I have now learned the importance of deleting old emails to reduce clutter, so you don’t scroll over something important like your username and password for wordpress……
Anyway my first week was what I expected. A lot of ice breaking and introducing, awkward stretches of time between classes that were spent in the computer lab or sitting outside of the vertical campus. I’m sure there will be work filling up that time very soon. I like my politics and psychology classes too. I don’t like the subject of math but the professor has a good sense of humor which is a plus. That’s really all i can say about the first week but dont worry I know everyone in BEG2A is dying to know about my second week 😉
My first week went surprisingly fast. I hope I’m able to stay on top of the work and not fall behind. I like POL, nice prof. And PSY seems like its going to be interesting but require a lot of work. Im hoping for the best.
Ok since you started the first post by a student I congratulate you =)
My first week was really only 2 days but I will share anyhow. I dislike my Microeconomics recitation class because the professor is a tad hard to understand. I was annoyed by my EC0 1001 syllabus because I have to subscribe to the Wall Street Journal which is a financial pain. My English professor does not use blackboard and we have 3-set texbook we had to purchase, *sigh. I like my law class because its my last class if the day, the room is spacious but its a pain getting to the 12th floor of the 17 Lex building. My Business Statistics class is by far the biggest pain; had a lot of trouble getting hold of the textbook but I managed to get it by the 2nd day of class right before the homework was due.
Our first FRO class was exciting yet hectic at the same time. I’m sad Patti was out sick but happy that everyone made it to class and participated in the activities. I was glad to go home that night, and even treated myself to 2 slices of pizza =)
Overall it was an OK first week of classes at Baruch.
