How was the academic advisement workshop?

I went to the academic advisement workshop on thursday at 12:30. It was not what I expected, there was so many students that I waited 30 minutes to get into the room. They were not prepared for the large amount of the students that attended. I was unable to get any information out of the workshop, and did not get a folder that contain all the informations. However they did apologized for the situation and sign everyone’s agenda.

    Thank you Shaterra for commenting, although in the future please post your own blog so that way it is much easier for me to record that you blogged and attended a workshop.
    I thought they had a few refreshments though?

    I attended the freshmen academic advisement workshop on the 17th. It was very short but also informative. Though they didnt have free food like promised. all in all it was pretty ok I am glad I went

    Wow, another similar experience; you might one to reply to Dana’s post below, Cheng.
    I have some information packets from my freshmen year so if you want you can either drop by the Academic Advisement office for an individual appoitnment or you can meet with me and I will help you out a bit. Let me know.

    Thanks for posting a blog and attending the workshop despite the difficulties.
