On Tuesday 10/6 a few of us attended the blood drive. It was my our first time giving blood, and I have to say it was worth it. The people were nice and helpful. They answered all my questions, and they were very efficient, as well as clean. After I gave blood they had snacks, pins, and T-shirts for us. Sadly we missed the Art tour, but like i said it was worth it. One of the doctors told me that I was strong, and that my blood will really help save someones life. I can’t wait until the next blood drive.

As much as i would love to give blood so that it may help others in the future, I have a big phobia of needles. Even when I see someone get injected with one in a movie it still causes me to be uneasy. I’m a big lover of food though and because of that love my doctor to this day gives me candy when I go in for shots.
Wow!!…Dana, you are very reliable and dependable…thanks! Glad some of you were able to attend the blood drive. Unfortunately I have never given blood before…tried to do it my senior year in high school but it was the end of the day and it was hot & warm in the gym and the lady made me drink water which was hot, therefore pointless. I will also make a point to attend the next Baruch Blood Drive whenever the next one is….if I’m in school that day.
