Club Fair ’09

I was really excited to go to the Club fair, I have a few friends that are upperclassmen in Baruch that told me about it, and how fun it is, and the perfomances that go on. I signed up for The Black Students Union Club, I have made a few new friends, and most of them are not from where I am (the bronx). I plan on being really active in the club, they throw parties, have a fashion show, spoken word nights (poetry) but they also do charity work, which I find great because they pride themselves on giving back, as well allow members to have an input on what goes on…

 Back to the club fair, I thought it was good that they had this, because many incoming freshman probably are not even aware of all the clubs that Baruch has to offer, and each group does its own thing, and have people with common interest, like BSU, for me has people with the same interest as me, even though the name of the club is BLACK student union, the dont only have Black students in it. Each club at the club fair definetly is integrated, and I think they each give endless possibilities for networkin in the future.
