Flyers-Global/Community Awareness
Nov. 9, 2009
I’ve made flyers for my Global/Community Awareness workshop credit. I worked with Jason Torkian to find a few pictures to put together, making the flyer. We went around the building posting them on the bulletin boards, and donated some pasta to the food drive; we gave them to Winnie, our peer mentor. I think that donating food for those who have none is important and sincere. Even though times are tough right now, people still have the heart to try and give whatever they have. I’ve got it pretty good and still nag about the little things I see and do not have. Even though I may not know what it feels like to have nothing, I should appreciate what I have that others don’t.
Well, black and white flyers won’t stand out…I’ll be getting another $100 for printing next semester anyway, so no worries. Sorry you had to carry it around all day.
(i hope jason will blog about this too…)
i can’t believe you printed colored flyers (they’re too costly at baruch!). posting flyers around baruch is a pretty difficult task since… it’s hard to find a spot that would attract the most attention.
and you’re awesome for donating. the pasta was really heavy to carry around after a while, haha.
