Club Fair

Prior to attending Baruch College, I had already looked up what clubs and societies the school has to offer. I already knew what to expect and what I wanted to look for at the Club Fair held at the beginning of the semester in the gymnasium. I was mostly interested in looking at the dance organization, particularly Latin Ballroom. This is due to the fact that I had previously been involved in Spanish Club at my high school which included dance performances. Not wanting to feel deprived of dance I signed up to the Latin Ballroom Group as well as Ballroom Dance Organization. I also took interest in some other clubs and signed up to receive more information. This included the Ecuadorian Club-although not Ecuadorian and the Psi Chi Honor Society-as I am interested in majoring in Psychology. Near the end the Dance Organization had put on a performance with a Michael Jackson theme. Here, I found two old friends that were a year my senior from my high school; one attends here and the other is here so much you would think he does too. Once the DJ changed the music and put some merengue beats, the club fair turned into a party. And of course, I just had to dance. 😀
