On October 6, 2009 at 1:30 PM, I attended the Blood Drive in NVC 1-107. I have done it on numerous occasions through out my high school career, so i wasn’t as nervous as the “first timers” there because i knew what to expect. Also, having had numerous blood tests through out my life, have trained me to know what to expect when a needle is being punctured into your veins. I enjoy giving blood because I know it will make a difference in someone else’s life down the road and that makes me very happy.

I attended the Blood Drive in NVC 1-107 on October 6. I was nervous at first because i hate needles and blood makes me squimish. However, the lady that worked there was very nice and attentive to my fear of needles. She helped me get through this and I realized that my cup of blood could be the difference in a life or death situation for someone in need. I came out of there feeling Exuberant to the fact that i faced my apprehension toward needles.
