Today I attended a seminar on how to use the internet effectively and how to do better research on the web. This was one of the most useless workshops ever invented. All it did was show us how to put the words and, of and so on to enhance our searches. I give alot of credit to the guy presenting this information because he stetched out his presentation to 30 minutes on a topic about nothing. Most everyone there was not paying attention and could not wait to leave the library. Another problem was that there was not enough seats. I ended up sitting on the floor for 30 minutes and my foot ended up falling asleep. I’m glad I got this requirement out of the way cause I would hate to sit through this again.

i went to a different workshop for databases and stuff. i think its useful and i dont have a problem using it, but for anyone computer illiterate, it wasnt explained too well because i think the lady was rushing. but its still useful anyways
haha yea mike and i were screwed out of seats. i could barely hear the person speaking. and he talked about all the stuff that i already know
