Stress & Anxiety Reduction

Today I went to a personal enrichment workshop in which they taught you techniques on how to reduce stress and anxiety. Most of it were calm meditations involving tensing and releasing muscles. We did this once in psychology. They also told us a method of bargaining or asking someone else for something called “DEAR MAN”. I forgot what it stood for but it is for negotiation. Also we had to eat a raisin very slowly.

Finally done with 6 workshops and I have to say they shouldn’t have made it mandatory. They should have made it less so we only have to go to the most useful ones. I just went to whatever workshop that fulfilled the requirement. The walk was okay, but everything else I went to was not worth the time.

i agree with you jhonny, a lot of the workshops that i went to were only for the purpose of fulfilling the requirement. some of the workshops were pretty informative, but some of them were just plain useless. anyway, im glad that you’re done with it!
