Today, a few friends and I went to watch “Paranormal Activities,” a film that we all thought to be one of the scariest ones of the year. We went with such excitement and high expectation that we actually felt scared before entering the theater. However, the minute the film started, doubts of being tricked and decieved by the trailor crawed into our minds. Not only was the movie quality a mediocre highschool production (with only four characters), it actually had no real content at all. At the same time, the movie was NOT scary, it was rather comic, with the girl constantly screaming out “Miccah!” and the guy acting like a know-it-all, while not knowing any crap from beginning to end. One of my friends fell asleep for one-third of the movie, while my other two friends tried to convince themselves that they didn’t just waste $12 for nothing! Anwway, I am not discouraging people from watching it, it would be interesting to hear what other people have to say after watching it. However, if you are a guy who want to bring a girl to watch it so that she can cling on to you, well, it’s just not going to happen. Sorry producers, but this film has certainly been one of the worst that I’ve seen in years! Nevertheless, this is a horror movie, since most people who’ve seen it were horrified at how dull it was!

Just saw it last weekend, and i have to say i wish i could take back the $11 and use it on something more worthwhile like manners classes.
Thats interesting because i have seen exactly what editing can do. They just pick the most exciting scenes connect them together and here goes a hit movie. But when you actually see the movie and those same scenes its boring.
FUN FACT: it cost 15,000 to make and grossed 64,000,000!
did you know it only cost $15,000 to make that movie?
i still havent seen it but my boy told me he couldnt sleep after it.lol
hahaha….the movie was soo funny!!!!
i kept thinking, ok now its gonna get scary!!!now its gonna get scary…
it never did though!!!!
the ending was funny. i started to laugh!!
irving, are you for real? which part of it made you not able to sleep? the part where the demon crept into their covers? but don’t worry, being possessed by the demon is like winning the lottery, it’s probably like one in a few million!
Haha, Beatrice, were you talking about me ” the one who slept for one-third of the movie”?! Well, yeah that was me. That movie was so messed up and at the end of it everybody was like ” wait, that’s it? That’s the ending” ? The worst thing is that at the end while we all were so confused, they just left it with ” the reason for Katie to act that way is remain unknown”! Ridiculous and Retarded.
i personally think it was better than alot of the other scary movies i’ve seen. it has that realistic feeling in it. i was scared to sleep for 2 nights ):
hahahaha, it really was a total waste of money. The Blair WItch Project (the first one)was wayyy better. At least they had a plot of some sort. I didn’t really get the whole point of the movie. Or was there even suppose to be one?
